Unlike traditional volumising dermal fillers, Ejal 40 works at a cellular level to restore the physiological structure of the skin from within – restructuring the extracellular matrix, stimulating fibroblast activity and promoting the natural synthesis of collagen and elastin to deliver progressive, natural-looking skin rejuvenation without adding volume.
Ejal 40 contains 40mg of non-cross-linked hyaluronic acid per 2ml, with a molecular weight of 1200 to 1800 kDalton – a medium molecular weight specifically selected to balance deep hydration with optimal tissue penetration and fibroblast stimulation. The product is formulated in a physiological, sterile, biodegradable and isotonic buffer, ensuring excellent biocompatibility and minimal risk of adverse reaction. Each syringe is pre-filled and supplied ready for immediate use.
Once injected intradermally, the HA fragments activate fibroblast cells in the dermis, triggering the stimulation of new collagen and elastin production and restoring the components of the dermal matrix. This process restructures and reinforces the extracellular matrix, improving skin density, firmness and hydration from within. Unlike cross-linked fillers which add physical volume, Ejal 40 achieves its results by restoring the skin’s own regenerative capacity – making it an effective treatment for skin that has been dehydrated or damaged by ageing and solar exposure.
Ejal 40 firms and tightens sagging skin, reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, improves skin tone, texture and radiance, restores hydration to dehydrated or photodamaged skin, and evens skin tone. Clinical data demonstrates 85% of users reporting increased skin elasticity after three sessions, with a 70% reduction in fine lines observed within two months.
Ejal 40 is indicated for facial rejuvenation, neck and décolleté revitalisation, hand rejuvenation, treatment of acne scarring and superficial skin trauma, and prevention of photoageing damage.
The recommended administration technique for Ejal 40 is the proprietary 4-Point Bio-Revitalisation (4 PBR) method – 0.25ml is injected intradermally at four specific points on each side of the face using a 30G needle. This targeted approach ensures even distribution and gradual diffusion of the product through the tissue, minimising the risk of bruising, oedema and discomfort. The subcutaneous application promotes gradual tissue filling and activates intercellular matrix synthesis.
An initial course of three treatments spaced two weeks apart is recommended, with full effects visible within three to four weeks of commencing treatment. Results last up to six months, with a maintenance course advised two to three times per year.
Both Ejal 40 and Profhilo are hyaluronic acid-based biorevitalising injectables designed to improve skin quality rather than add volume. Ejal 40 uses a single medium molecular weight HA at 40mg/2ml, providing focused deep hydration and extracellular matrix restructuring.
