Manufactured using pharmaceutical-grade raw materials, it is specifically engineered for the delicate skin around the eyes – an area that is particularly prone to dark circles, fine lines, puffiness and pigmentation, and which requires a gentler, more targeted approach than general skin booster treatments.
iLLUMA Luna contains 10mg of polynucleotides (PN), 5mg of non-cross-linked hyaluronic acid, and three bioactive peptides – Pentapeptide-13 (0.05mg), Tripeptide-29 (0.05mg) and Dipeptide-2 (0.05mg) — all in a 1ml pre-filled syringe.
At 10mg of PN per syringe, iLLUMA Luna contains five times more polynucleotide than comparable products in its category, making it one of the most concentrated periorbital PN treatments available. The addition of hyaluronic acid serves a dual purpose — providing immediate deep hydration while simultaneously increasing cellular permeability, allowing the HA gel to release the PN gradually and extend the active duration of the polynucleotides within the tissue.
Polynucleotides, derived from purified salmon-sperm PDRN, stimulate cellular repair at a DNA level – activating fibroblast proliferation, accelerating tissue regeneration and promoting the natural production of collagen and elastin. The slow-release mechanism of the HA matrix extends the active time of the PN, prolonging the treatment’s regenerative effects beyond what PN alone could achieve.
The three-peptide complex amplifies and refines these effects. Pentapeptide-13 targets skin brightening and reduces discolouration. Tripeptide-29 supports cellular regeneration and addresses fine lines. Dipeptide-2 reduces puffiness and under-eye fluid retention — directly targeting one of the most common periorbital concerns.

Three to four treatment sessions at four-week intervals is the recommended course, with some practitioners advising two to three sessions ten to fourteen days apart followed by six-monthly maintenance. One 1ml syringe per session is sufficient for full periorbital treatment.
